Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to deliver patient-centred care in our community pharmacy. You will provide expert advice on medicines and services, support the dispensary team, and uphold safety and regulatory standards while delivering high quality care to every patient.

You’ll work with store colleagues to triage patients, check prescriptions, manage stock and pharmacy systems, and participate in continuous learning and development to progress your Boots career.

Qualifications

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).
• Strong coaching and leadership skills within a dispensary team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to deliver patient-centred care and service excellence.
• Ability to use pharmacy systems and technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, tailored advice to patients about medicines and services.
• Deliver services as per store needs.
• Coach and inspire the pharmacy team to deliver high quality care.
• Triaging patients and distributing prescription handouts.
• Ensure legal, safe and ethical decision-making in the pharmacy.
• Manage stock, workload, orders, and handling controlled drugs safely.
