Responsibilities


  • Deliver comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to oncology and haematology patients

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on oncology medicines

  • Validate chemotherapy prescriptions and conduct clinical checks

  • Oversee procurement, preparation, and dispensing of medications

  • Ensure compliance with all professional and regulatory standards

  • Contribute to the development of treatment protocols and patient care strategies

The ideal pharmacist will have


  • Experience in oncology and haematology within a hospital setting

  • GPhC registration with a BSc Pharm or MPharm

  • Membership of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and BOPA (desirable)

  • Independent prescriber status (advantageous)
