Personal Tax Manager - Cambridge

Clark Wood is delighted to partner with a prestigious regional firm in Cambridge, seeking a highly skilled and motivated Personal Tax Manager to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax legislation.
  • Prepare and review personal tax returns for a variety of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and professionals.
  • Provide expert advisory services on a range of personal tax issues, including income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax planning.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for tax-related matters.
  • Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize their financial positions.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and ensure clients are informed of relevant changes and opportunities.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance and feedback to aid their professional development.
  • Work closely with other departments within the firm to provide a seamless and integrated service to clients.
Qualifications and Experience
  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in personal tax, with a strong background in both compliance and advisory work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
