Personal Care Assistant for a young man 25 hr/wk@ £17.23/hr in Morpeth - FTE - £33.6k

A part-time position has become available for a personal assistant to join my team just outside Morpeth in a friendly family orientated setting.

I am an adventurous character, enjoying many activities including speedboating, theatre, disco, going for walks, festivals and much more.

I require 24-hour support, 2:1 care, and I am confined to a wheelchair.

The position requires a caring, considerate, reliable, and bubbly personality as I love laughter and humor.

A medical or nursing background would be ideal but not essential as training will be given including bespoke moving and handling.

The successful candidate would be required to complete an enhanced DBS, be a driver, and non-smoker.

You would be joining a team that works together on a rolling rota basis, and you would be expected to work alternative weekends.

As part of your contracted hours, you will be required to complete 1 x 12 hour shift on a weekend and 2x 6.5 hour shifts on Monday, Tuesday (Alternative) & Friday.

Flexibility is required to cover sickness and annual leave on days, waking nights and sleep ins.
