Overview

A Personal Support Assistant is required for up to 3 hours per week to accompany a 26 year old gentleman who has Down's syndrome and autism to enjoy outdoor activities.

Details

The gentleman is non-verbal, so a basic knowledge of Makaton would be ideal. It is essential that the Support Assistant has the use of a car to take him to various activities.

Hours and Schedule

The 3 hours are fairly flexible and can be split into various shifts or the hours in one day, depending on activity. These hours are required on a Saturday and/or Sunday daytime.

Compensation

The rate of pay is £15.65 per hour.
