Caring Hearts Wanted: Join Us as a Personal Care Assistant!

Hello Education is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Personal Care Assistants to join a fantastic SEND school in Darlington. You will work with incredible pupils aged 2-19, including those with limited abilities, in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Your role will be vital in ensuring their care, comfort, and success every day.

Responsibilities

• Mentor: Build strong, positive relationships with students and help them flourish.
• Environment Creator: Facilitate a safe and uplifting space where every child can shine.
• De-escalation: Manage challenging situations with patience and understanding.
• Team Collaboration: Work with schools across Sheffield as needed.
• Personal Care: Provide full welfare support, including toileting and feeding, for children who require assistance.
• Record Keeping: Maintain toileting and welfare records with care when required.
• Feeding Support: Assist pupils during mealtimes as needed.
• Empowerment Support: Help pupils with limited abilities in achieving their potential and celebrating progress.
