Job description
Personal Assistant

Location: Swanley, Kent BR8 7DJ

Hourly rate of pay: £12.21

I am looking for a Personal Assistant to provide support to my 7 yrs old son during term time and holidays to enable him to have a fun-filled time outside of school hours. My son is diagnosed with Severe Autism, ADHD and Significant Sensory issues. He is non-verbal, unaware of hazards or dangers and has limited understanding of world around him. He is still in his nappies and requires full support with his personal care. He is mobile but requires full support whilst walking out of the house as he has no danger awareness. He may also require support with other needs including meal times and changing.

My son is a lovely, happy, easy going and playful child with lots of giggles. He has not developed any communication skills yet and mostly communicates by taking adults hands to the things he wants/needs. He loves giggles, cuddles and hugs.

His ideal assistant would be somebody who is kind, reliable, has a sense of humour and is comfortable with mess and messy play. Previous experience of safeguarding children with high sensory and communication needs would be an advantage. Full and clean driving licence is preferable but not essential.
