Job summary

A local care provider in Larbert seeks Care Workers / Personal Assistants to assist with various personal care tasks and community activities. Training and NHS certification will be provided. The role requires membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG). Full-time and part-time positions available at £13.50 per hour gross, meeting the Scottish Living Wage standards.

Qualifications

• Membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) required.
• Willingness to share PVG information with the employer.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Gastrostomy feeding.
• Assisting with oral care and suctioning.
• Assisting with bathing.
• Assisting with accessing activities in the community.
• Performing other duties as a Care Worker / Personal Assistant.

Overview

Post: Care Worker / Personal Assistant

Hours: 2x 40 (FT) and 2x 26 (PT) hours per week (Mix of day and night shifts; day hours will differ during term time)

Rate of pay: £13.50 per hour gross (note: must meet Scottish Living Wage as a minimum amount)

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Gastrostomy feeding
• Assisting with oral care/ suctioning
• Assisting with Bathing
• Assisting with Accessing activities in the community
• Any other duties commensurate with the role of Care Worker / Personal Assistant

Training and qualifications

• Full training will be provided as well as NHS certification.
• Applicants must have membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) and be willing to share this information with the employer
