Permanent Afternoons - Manufacturing Operative

Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be working with a leading distribution business, soon to be operating from their brand-new facility in Doncaster. We are seeking a number of Multi-skilled Manufacturing Operatives to join the Operations team – a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same.

This multi-skilled position offers the chance to get involved in all areas of warehouse operations – from picking and packing, to processing products, goods in/out, and forklift truck operation. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring products reach customers on time, in perfect condition, and in line with the highest health & safety standards.

Multi Skilled Manufacturing Operative

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Hours: Permanent Afternoons – 13:30 to 21:30
Salary: £27,426
Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately pick and pack products for customer orders.

Safely measure, cut, and label products to exact specifications.

Receive, inspect, and store incoming stock.

Prepare, load, and dispatch outgoing shipments.

Operate FLT equipment (Counterbalance and/or Reach) safely and efficiently.

Maintain accurate stock control and inventory records.

Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and hazard-free.

What We’re Looking For:

Previous warehouse or distribution experience – ideally in cables or electrical products (desirable, not essential).

Confidence in picking, packing, cutting, and goods handling – full training provided.

A valid FLT licence (Counterbalance/Reach) is preferred, but not essential.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to work to tight deadlines.

A proactive, team-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.

Good understanding of health & safety regulations.
