Job summary

Rockliffe Hotel, Golf & Spa Resort is seeking a People Operations Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations and deliver a responsive service across recruitment, onboarding and the employee journey. You will work closely with the People Business Partner and the wider team to ensure processes are accurate, compliant and supportive, fostering a great colleague experience at Rockliffe.

Qualifications

• Good generalist HR and People operations experience with a CIPD Level 5 or working towards.
• Experience supporting managers with employee relations and the employee lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of People processes, policies, systems and employment practices.
• Experience of payroll liaison and employee benefits.
• Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality when handling colleague information.
• Commitment to providing a great colleague experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of People operations across the employee lifecycle.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and the wider colleague journey, delivering a great experience from day one.
• Maintain colleague records, payroll liaison, benefits and People systems.
• Be a trusted advisory source for managers on employee relations, absence, policies and People matters.
• Ensure People practices are fair, compliant and well-documented.
• Protect confidential colleague information and keep records accurate.
• Build positive relationships with colleagues, managers and external partners.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve People processes.
