A leading semiconductor company in the UK is seeking a People Assistant for a fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave cover. This role encompasses proactive HR support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and payroll administration. We have an exciting new opportunity to join our People Team on a fixed‑term contract as a People Assistant to provide maternity leave cover during a busy period at Pragmatic Semiconductor.
Reporting to the Senior People Operations Manager, you will provide proactive and professional HR support across all areas of the employee lifecycle including onboarding, immigration and relocation support. You will be the key point of contact for HiBob Administration, including maintaining data accuracy and reporting, and acting as the first point of contact for employee queries. You will provide payroll and benefits administration back‑up, and support projects across the People team, with a focus on People Operations and Reward.
The role can be based at either of our busy offices in Cambridge or Durham, with hybrid working options available. While this is intended to be a full‑time role, we are open to discussing alternative arrangements with candidates.
Please note, Visa sponsorship will not be available for this position; candidates will therefore need to be able to provide evidence of Right to Work in the UK.
