Royal Mail Group is seeking an experienced Pensions Service Team Leader to manage the Retirements team, supporting active and deferred members of the Royal Mail Pension Plan. This role requires strong leadership, governance, and a customer-focused approach in a busy pensions centre.

You will oversee workloads, performance, and compliance, driving efficiency improvements while developing talent and ensuring accurate pension calculations and payments in line with plan rules.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of a pensions services team.
• Experience delivering accurate, efficient pensions administration.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Pensions Administrators to deliver a customer-focused service.
• Plan workloads and monitor performance to meet service levels.
• Ensure compliance with Trustee requirements and regulatory standards.
• Coach, mentor and support team members through regular one-to-ones.
• Drive process improvements and efficiency across pensions services.
