Are you looking for an opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills within pelvic health?

As an early adopter of the Perinatal Pelvic Health service, our Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team is growing and we are looking for a physiotherapist to join our team on a fixed term basis until June 2026. This post will be based at Frimley Park Hospital but as we are a cross site team there may be opportunity or requirement to work at our other sites.

Main duties of the job
  • We have a growing team of experienced physiotherapists and assistant practitioners who provide an evidence based service. Advanced Practice Physiotherapists in the team provide expert advice and support.
  • We have a well structured in-service training schedule. The service is expanding but the caseload will include 1:1 appointments and a range of virtual and in person groups and workshops with patients.
  • There may be opportunities to supervise other staff and take on students.

Job responsibilities
  • To provide an effective, high quality physiotherapy service to outpatients in the specialty of Pelvic Health.
  • To undertake specialist physiotherapeutic assessment, clinical diagnosis, and treatment of patient with Pelvic Health problems. These patients may have complex and/or chronic presentations.
  • To supervise and teach recently qualified physiotherapists/technicians/assistants and students and be involved in teaching MDT staff.
  • To participate in CPD and other departmental activities.
