We are currently recruiting for an External Client Lead to join our Peerpoint team in the London office. This Senior Manager level role is one of three senior team members driving the implementation of Peerpoint's UK strategy. Reporting to the Head of Peerpoint, UK and working alongside the Talent and AOS Relationship Lead, this role will be primarily responsible for leading and executing Peerpoint's external client development strategy in the UK. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving sustainable revenue growth, enhancing client relationships, and positioning Peerpoint as the market leader in legal talent management.

This role will lead the UK external client development team, manage strategic accounts and focus on new business acquisition. It is a hands‑on, commercially focused role dedicated to external client development and revenue generation. You will be responsible for leading the team who together will win new business and growing existing accounts by delivering tailored consultant solutions that meet client needs, while ensuring commercial terms and operational discipline. Success will be measured by new business won, revenue and coverage growth with external accounts, client satisfaction, speed and quality of delivery, and disciplined pipeline management and forecasting. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The role is responsible for delivering on the businesses' continued growth and approach to outperforming the legal resourcing market in the UK. Outperforming the market has a tangible outcome - it means our consultants have superior assignment opportunities with some of the best employers and teams in the market.

Responsibilities include:

Strategy and brand alignment
  • Contributing to Peerpoint UK's strategy as a senior member of the London based team. In the development of our strategy, your primary role is to be the voice of the client and ensure external market insights and client needs are represented in any strategy, campaign or initiative we develop.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team to co-develop and deliver targeted, campaign‑based business development activities to increase market presence and attract new clients and win more work with existing clients.
  • Represent Peerpoint externally at industry events to build profile, nurture networks and generate qualified opportunities.
Client development & relationship management
  • Lead strategic account management for the UK's most important clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with GCs, Heads of Legal, Legal COOs, and other key decision-makers across strategic accounts and new prospects.
  • Capture and share client insights and competitive intelligence to ensure Peerpoint and AOS offer an integrated service and continually improve our proposition.
Development of a collaborative sales culture
  • Lead the full sales lifecycle: from lead generation, qualification, pitching and proposal writing, pricing and commercial negotiation, to post close care and monitoring.
  • In collaboration with the Head of Peerpoint UK and the Contracts and Operations teams, manage commercial discussions and negotiate commercial terms within approved pricing and contractual with clients.
Team leadership & development
  • Lead, manage, train and inspire the UK external client development team.
  • Provide guidance and support to help the team deliver against business goals, fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Encourage a high-performance, inclusive, and client-focused culture through proactive and inspiring leadership.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Proven experience in client development, sales, and relationship management within a professional services or legal consulting/ALSP environment.
  • Proven ability to originate, qualify, negotiate and close complex, solution based engagements with senior stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to hustle and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Someone who loves people and believes that the legal profession can be a healthy place for lawyers to thrive when they have a variety of career options available to them, some of which you will create!
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with high emotional intelligence.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and managing complex client relationships.
  • Highly organized and resilient, with a disciplined and data driven approach to activity planning and forecasting.
