Job description

Sherwood Forest Hospitals are seeking a driven, customer-focused individual to take on the role of Payroll Officer within our Finance department. As a key member of our team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of monthly and weekly payrolls for the Trust, ensuring compliance with the Trust’s standing financial documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient and effective payroll processing support to enable the delivery of the weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Support excellent customer service to colleagues of the Trust.
• Provide first‑class customer service and maintain an eye for detail with regards to data entry into the ESR system for changes to contracts (e.g., maternity, change of hours, positions, etc.).
• Work with the Finance department to ensure compliance with the Trust’s financial and payroll procedures.
