Job summary

A successful recruitment company in Ipswich is looking for a Payroll Advisor to join their expanding team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for career advancement while working with payroll operations in a multi-site environment. Key responsibilities include collating data, processing payroll accurately, and maintaining strong relationships across entities. Candidates should hold a CIPP level 3 qualification and have previous experience in end-to-end payroll management. The offered salary will vary based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

  • CIPP level 3 qualification or higher.
  • Experience of working on end to end payroll.
  • Good understanding of payroll legislation.
  • Experience in payroll system implementation highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Collate, prepare and input data using the company software systems.
  • Build strong working relationships with HR colleagues and external providers.
  • Process end-to-end payrolls accurately and according to deadlines.
  • Handle starters, leavers, maternity, paternity, sickness, overtime, pensions, and company vehicles.
  • Complete end of year process and produce P60's and P11D's.

The Payroll Advisor will work closely across all entities to ensure Payroll is completed correctly and on time across this multi-site business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collate, prepare and input data using the company software systems
  • Build strong working relationships with HR colleagues, the wider business, and external providers.
  • Process end-to-end payrolls accurately and according to deadlines.
  • Routinely including starters, leavers, maternity, paternity, sickness, overtime, Attachment of Earnings, pensions, and company vehicles
  • Complete end of year process and produce P60's, and P11D's

For this role you will need to hold a CIPP level 3 qualification or higher, have previous experience of working on end to end payroll and you will have a good understanding of payroll legislation. Any experience in payroll system implementation would be highly desirable.
