An exciting opportunity has arisen for two full time positions as a Cancer Patient Navigator in a progressive Cancer Services Team.
We are looking for a motivated, organised and enthusiastic team player to join an established team. Training will be provided to support a new starter in this role. The individual will have an eye for detail ensuring accurate data input in line with National Cancer Waiting Times Guidance, Quality Surveillance and COSD and good communication skills
This important role is to help support and navigate patients, their families and carers through Cancer pathways ensuring that the service's prime aim is to be patient-focused and proactive in seeing that the patient receives the very best cancer pathway experience within the shortest time frame with continual communication and support.
The role requires someone with exceptional organisational skills who can demonstrate great communication and interpersonal skills. A caring and sensitive attitude is essential as you will be dealing with patients, their families and carers. The individual will be expected to work independently within the appropriate policies and procedures for the service.
