Overview

We are currently looking for a Clinical Account Lead to join our National Nursing team. Reporting to the Clinical Business Manager, you will manage a patient and customer caseload, working as the main point of contact for clinical teams, patients, the wider multi-disciplinary teams and internal stakeholders to ensure the ongoing safe clinical management of patients. The role is field-based, full-time Monday - Friday and the location of a successful candidate can be flexible.

Fresenius Kabi is a global healthcare company that specializes in lifesaving medicines and technologies for infusion, transfusion and clinical nutrition. The company's products and services are used to help care for critically and chronically ill patients.

Our product portfolio included a comprehensive range of IV generic drugs, infusion therapies and clinical nutrition products as well as the medical devices for administering these products.

Responsibilities
  • Work in partnership with the Resource and Capacity Planning Team in line with the company strategy to ensure a safe, efficient and effective service with the appropriate resource in place
  • Assess, plan, implement and review the nursing and care requirements of patients
  • Act as the ongoing central point of contact for key accounts regarding patient requirements to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and patient safety, ensuring timely reporting and escalation of clinical concerns
  • Provide accurate reports to customers regarding patient care and maintain patient contingency plans in collaboration with clinical teams, utilising national and internal reporting tools
  • Provide prompt and clear communications to the relevant nursing teams regarding patient clinical updates, outcomes and actions, in accordance with internal guidelines and policies
  • Act as a professional resource to support the nursing team, providing clinical support and advice as required
  • Contribute to the development of the nursing strategy as a member of the senior nursing team to deliver against the overall company strategy
Qualifications
  • NMC registered
  • Specialised nursing experience preferably within community/clinical nutrition
  • Ability to manage your own time and multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
