Job summary

Beacon Medical GP Surgery in Cleethorpes is seeking an enthusiastic receptionist/coordinator to join our growing team. You will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors and providers, handling inquiries by phone or in person and guiding people to the right services.

As part of a supportive practice, you will welcome visitors, manage signposting, bookings, and basic administrative tasks to help deliver high-quality care with a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with patients and staff.
• Ability to work well in a team and maintain a friendly, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for the practice by telephone or face to face.
• Liaise with patients, trade people, pharmacies, clinical staff and external providers; welcome visitors and direct inquiries.
• Manage visitor signposts, maintain directories, and provide instructions; monitor logbooks and uphold security.
• Schedule appointments and signpost patients to the appropriate services, over the phone and at reception.
