Job summary

Confidential in Swadlincote is seeking a Call Handler to provide friendly, empathetic customer service to patients, booking appointments and handling enquiries across phone and digital channels. This role offers flexible daytime hours, no cold calling, and a supportive team.

You will make outbound warm calls to patients awaiting appointments, update records, and work with colleagues to deliver high service standards in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Warm and courteous communication with patients.
• Proficient with basic computer literacy and keyboard skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
• Strong listening and problem-solving skills.
• Basic Maths and English skills.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to patients awaiting appointments (warm calls only).
• Book patients into appointments and ensure a smooth customer journey.
• Handle customer queries via telephone, digital channels, and administrative tasks.
• Provide a professional, friendly, and empathetic service at all times.
• Take ownership of customer enquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Accurately update and maintain customer records and data.
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional service standards.
