Job summary

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Booking Coordinator to take patient calls and manage referrals, guiding patients from the first referral through follow-up appointments or surgery.

You will use ERS and Lorenzo to record bookings, handle high call volumes and deliver a professional patient service within a busy team. Experience in NHS administration and proficient IT skills are desirable.

Hours are 08:00–18:00 Monday–Thursday and 08:00–17:30 Friday; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• GCSE English Language and Maths (Grade C/4) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional and efficient booking service for patients and clinical teams.
• Manage patient referrals and appointment bookings.
• Guide patients through their care pathway from initial referral to follow-up appointments or surgery.
• Handle high volumes of incoming calls while delivering good customer care.
• Use ERS and Lorenzo to record and manage referrals and bookings.
• Ensure every patient has a positive experience.
• Prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-moving team.
