Job summary

A leading electrical compliance company is seeking an experienced individual for portable appliance testing. You will be responsible for testing appliances across large commercial sites in the Luton to Milton Keynes area. The position offers a basic salary of £26k with a realistic OTE of £38-40k, along with travel pay and bonuses based on tests performed. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Living in the Luton to Milton Keynes area is ideal.
• Experience in testing portable appliances is required.

• Visiting 1 or 2 sites daily, with bonuses for a 3rd site.
• Covering areas around Luton and Milton Keynes.

Overview

My client is a very well respected electrical compliance and testing company that has been established for well over 40 years. They cover all over the UK and can claim a lot of very well known companies and organisations as customers. They pride themselves on their engineers' skills as well as always being one step ahead of the ever changing electrical regulations. They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant and take their service very seriously to make sure their clients always come back in the future.

Responsibilities

• Testing portable appliances on large commercial sites
• Going to 1 or 2 sites per day - extra bonuses if you have to go to a 3rd site that day
• Covering in and around the Luton area and going out towards Milton Keynes

Salary and Benefits

• 26k basic salary - realistic OTE of 38-40k OTE
• Bonus scheme for the amount of items tested per day - 20p, 30p or 40p per test after daily targets are hit
• Travel pay
• Bonuses if you go to 3 or more sites per day

Skills / Experience

• Living anywhere around the Luton to Milton Keynes area ideally
• C&G 2377 PAT course needed
• Experience doing portable appliance testing
• Full UK driving licence
• Great customer services skills for when you are on site
• Be able to pass a DBS check
