The Role: Pastoral Support Team Member

  • You will join a dedicated Pastoral Support Team to support students' emotional and academic development. Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting students' wellbeing and helping them develop emotional self‑regulation
  • Building trusting, positive relationships with pupils to guide reflection and personal growth
  • Understanding individual SEND needs to support the school's reflect‑repair‑reconnect approach
  • De‑escalating challenging behaviour using proactive and appropriate strategies
  • Collaborating with teachers, the Pastoral Lead, and support staff to inform learning and intervention
  • Providing meaningful support that promotes personal development and resilience
