Job Title: Pastoral/Behaviour Support Assistant

Salary: 90 - 100 per day

Type: Full-time, Term-time only

Working Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pastoral/Behaviour Support Assistant to join schools in Brigg Area. As a Pastoral/Behaviour Support Assistant, you will provide support to students, monitor behaviour, and work closely with teachers to ensure students receive the necessary support to excel academically.

Responsibilities
  • Offering support to students with their studies, including one-to-one or small group sessions.
  • Monitoring behaviour, identifying and addressing patterns of poor behaviour.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Providing guidance and support to students, ensuring their welfare is protected.
  • Contributing to the development of school policies and strategies.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a teaching assistant, learning support, or counselling.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • A caring and nurturing personality.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • A valid DBS check.
