Job summary

DAF Trucks Ltd in Leeds is looking for a Parts Advisor who can deliver a professional parts sales service face to face, at the trade counter, by phone and online. The role covers stock replenishment in line with health and safety guidelines and involves working a night shift, Tuesday to Friday, 6pm to 6am.

You should have prior Parts Advisor or warehouse experience, strong customer focus, good communication, PC literacy and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• You will have previous experience working as a Parts Advisor or similar role within the HGV, commercial vehicle, motor trade or an associated sector.
• Or have experience within a Warehouse / Stores environment and have a passion for trucks and know your truck / car parts.
• A customer focused individual with excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working unsupervised whilst on night shift.
• PC Literate.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• You will provide a professional parts sales service to internal and external customers face to face, over the trade counter, telephone and online.
• To efficiently replenish stocks in accordance with health and safety regulations, creating new locations where necessary.
• Promote and encourage growth of the parts business.
• Utilise all parts identification tools to ensure effective and efficient customer response.
• Maintain competent and complete records for all service exchange parts supplied/returned.
• Working: Tuesday to Friday 6pm - 6am.
