Job summary

Ford & Slater Newark in Leeds is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our team on a night shift (6pm–6am). You will service parts sales face-to-face, by phone, and online for internal and external customers, while ensuring stock replenishment and safety procedures are followed.

The role offers excellent earning potential and a benefits package including pension, 22 days holiday rising to 25, cycle-to-work, free parking and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor in HGV or motor trades.
• Experience in warehouse/stores with passion for trucks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work unsupervised on night shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional parts sales service at the counter, by phone, and online to internal and external customers.
• Efficiently replenish stocks in line with health and safety regulations.
• Promote and grow the parts business.
• Maintain records for service exchange parts supplied/returned.

Who are we looking for as a Parts Advisor:

• You will have previous experience working as a Parts Advisor or similar role within the HGV, commercial vehicle, motor trade or an associated sector.
• Or have experience within a Warehouse / Stores environment and have a passion for trucks and know your truck / car parts.
• A customer focused individual with excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working unsupervised whilst on night shift.
• PC Literate.
• Full UK driving licence.

The Parts Advisor role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):

You will provide a professional parts sales service to internal and external customers face to face, over the trade counter, telephone and online. To efficiently replenish stocks in accordance with health and safety regulations, creating new locations where necessary. Promote and encourage growth of the parts business. Utilise all parts identification tools to ensure effective and efficient customer response. Maintain competent and complete records for all service exchange parts supplied/returned.

Working: Tuesday to Friday 6pm - 6am.
