Job summary

Slater Birtley is seeking a Parts Advisor to join our Leeds operation. The role involves providing a professional parts sales service to customers face to face, over the trade counter, by phone and online. You will replenish stock, promote growth of the parts business and maintain clear records for service exchange parts.

Night shift: Tuesday to Friday, 6pm–6am. Candidates should have previous Parts Advisor experience, be PC literate, and hold a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or similar role within HGV/commercial vehicle sectors.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
• PC literate; able to use parts identification tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional parts sales service to internal and external customers face to face, at the trade counter, via telephone and online.
• Efficiently replenish stocks in accordance with health and safety regulations; create new locations where necessary.
• Promote and grow the parts business; utilise parts tools to ensure rapid customer response.
• Maintain accurate records for all service exchange parts supplied or returned.

Who are we looking for as a Parts Advisor:

• You will have previous experience working as a Parts Advisor or similar role within the HGV, commercial vehicle, motor trade or an associated sector.
• Or have experience within a Warehouse / Stores environment and have a passion for trucks and know your truck / car parts.
• A customer focused individual with excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working unsupervised whilst on night shift.
• PC Literate.
• Full UK driving licence.

The Parts Advisor role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):

You will provide a professional parts sales service to internal and external customers face to face, over the trade counter, telephone and online. To efficiently replenish stocks in accordance with health and safety regulations, creating new locations where necessary. Promote and encourage growth of the parts business. Utilise all parts identification tools to ensure effective and efficient customer response. Maintain competent and complete records for all service exchange parts supplied/returned.

Working: Tuesday to Friday 6pm - 6am.
