Job summary

Ford & Slater King's Lynn in Leeds is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our night shift team. The role focuses on delivering excellent parts sales service across in-person, trade counter, phone and online channels while maintaining stock and promoting growth.

The successful candidate will be PC-literate, hold a Full UK driving licence and have a passion for trucks and parts. Excellent earning potential, training via DAF Academy, pension and other benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as Parts Advisor or similar in HGV/trucks or related sector.
• Experience in Warehouse/Stores and passion for trucks/parts.
• Must be customer-focused with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional parts sales service to internal and external customers face to face, on the trade counter, telephone and online.
• Efficiently replenish stocks in line with health and safety regulations and create new locations as needed.
• Promote growth of the parts business and maintain records for service exchange parts.

Who are we looking for as a Parts Advisor:

• You will have previous experience working as a Parts Advisor or similar role within the HGV, commercial vehicle, motor trade or an associated sector.
• Or have experience within a Warehouse / Stores environment and have a passion for trucks and know your truck / car parts.
• A customer focused individual with excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working unsupervised whilst on night shift.
• PC Literate.
• Full UK driving licence.

The Parts Advisor role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):

You will provide a professional parts sales service to internal and external customers face to face, over the trade counter, telephone and online. To efficiently replenish stocks in accordance with health and safety regulations, creating new locations where necessary. Promote and encourage growth of the parts business. Utilise all parts identification tools to ensure effective and efficient customer response. Maintain competent and complete records for all service exchange parts supplied/returned.

Working: Tuesday to Friday 6pm - 6am.
