Job summary

Ford & Slater Limited in Leeds is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to deliver a professional parts sales service to customers face to face, over the trade counter, by phone and online. You will replenish stocks, promote parts sales and use identification tools to respond efficiently.

Working Tue-Fri 6pm–6am, you will operate in a night-shift environment, with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction. Full UK driving licence and PC literacy are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Parts Advisor or similar role in HGV or motor sectors.
• Warehouse/Stores experience with passion for trucks and parts.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication.
• Willing to work night shifts and unsupervised.
• Proficient with PC systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional parts sales service to internal and external customers face to face, over the trade counter, telephone and online.
• Replenish stocks in line with health and safety regulations.
• Promote and grow the parts business.
• Utilise parts identification tools to ensure quick customer response.
• Maintain records for all service exchange parts supplied/returned.

Who are we looking for as a Parts Advisor:

• You will have previous experience working as a Parts Advisor or similar role within the HGV, commercial vehicle, motor trade or an associated sector.
• Or have experience within a Warehouse / Stores environment and have a passion for trucks and know your truck / car parts.
• A customer focused individual with excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working unsupervised whilst on night shift.
• PC Literate.
• Full UK driving licence.

The Parts Advisor role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):

You will provide a professional parts sales service to internal and external customers face to face, over the trade counter, telephone and online. To efficiently replenish stocks in accordance with health and safety regulations, creating new locations where necessary. Promote and encourage growth of the parts business. Utilise all parts identification tools to ensure effective and efficient customer response. Maintain competent and complete records for all service exchange parts supplied/returned.

Working: Tuesday to Friday 6pm - 6am.
