Job summary

Ford & Slater in Leeds is seeking a Parts Advisor with experience in HGV, commercial vehicles or motor trade. You will provide a professional parts sales service face to face, over the trade counter, telephone and online, and help replenish stocks.

Must be customer-focused with excellent communication, PC literate, and hold a full UK driving licence. Comfortable working unsupervised on night shifts (Tue-Fri, 6pm–6am). Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional parts sales service to customers face to face, over the trade counter, telephone and online.

• Maintain records for service parts supplied/returned.

Who are we looking for as a Parts Advisor:

• You will have previous experience working as a Parts Advisor or similar role within the HGV, commercial vehicle, motor trade or an associated sector.
• Or have experience within a Warehouse / Stores environment and have a passion for trucks and know your truck / car parts.
• A customer focused individual with excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working unsupervised whilst on night shift.
• PC Literate.
• Full UK driving licence.

The Parts Advisor role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):

You will provide a professional parts sales service to internal and external customers face to face, over the trade counter, telephone and online. To efficiently replenish stocks in accordance with health and safety regulations, creating new locations where necessary. Promote and encourage growth of the parts business. Utilise all parts identification tools to ensure effective and efficient customer response. Maintain competent and complete records for all service exchange parts supplied/returned.

Working: Tuesday to Friday 6pm - 6am.
