Job summary

Ford & Slater DAF in Leeds is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our team on a night shift, providing professional parts sales service to internal and external customers.

You will replenish stock, promote parts business, use identification tools, and maintain records while upholding health and safety standards. Full UK driving licence is required; pension, cycle-to-work and other benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience as Parts Advisor or similar role within HGV, commercial vehicle, motor trade or related sector.
• Experience in Warehouse/Stores environment with passion for trucks and parts.
• Ability to work unsupervised on night shift.
• Good IT/PC literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional parts sales service to customers face-to-face, via trade counter, phone and online.
• Efficiently replenish stock while following health and safety regulations and create locations as needed.
• Promote growth of the parts business and use parts identification tools to respond to customers.
• Maintain records for service exchange parts supplied or returned.

Who are we looking for as a Parts Advisor:

• You will have previous experience working as a Parts Advisor or similar role within the HGV, commercial vehicle, motor trade or an associated sector.
• Or have experience within a Warehouse / Stores environment and have a passion for trucks and know your truck / car parts.
• A customer focused individual with excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working unsupervised whilst on night shift.
• PC Literate.
• Full UK driving licence.

The Parts Advisor role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):

You will provide a professional parts sales service to internal and external customers face to face, over the trade counter, telephone and online. To efficiently replenish stocks in accordance with health and safety regulations, creating new locations where necessary. Promote and encourage growth of the parts business. Utilise all parts identification tools to ensure effective and efficient customer response. Maintain competent and complete records for all service exchange parts supplied/returned.

Working: Tuesday to Friday 6pm - 6am.
