Job summary

Ford & Slater Spalding in Leeds is seeking a Parts Advisor with a passion for trucks and customer-focused service. The role includes night shift work (Tuesday to Friday, 6pm-6am) and offers career progression within a supportive dealer environment.

You will provide parts sales across counter, phone and online, ensuring stock replenishment, accurate records, and strong customer response using parts identification tools.

Qualifications

• You will have previous experience working as a Parts Advisor or similar role within the HGV, commercial vehicle, motor trade or an associated sector.
• Or have experience within a Warehouse / Stores environment and have a passion for trucks and know your truck / car parts.
• A customer focused individual with excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working unsupervised whilst on night shift.
• PC Literate.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• You will provide a professional parts sales service to internal and external customers face to face, over the trade counter, telephone and online.
• To efficiently replenish stocks in accordance with health and safety regulations, creating new locations where necessary.
• Promote and encourage growth of the parts business.
• Utilise all parts identification tools to ensure effective and efficient customer response.
• Maintain competent and complete records for all service exchange parts supplied/returned.
