Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting a Parts Advisor for a busy team in Royston. The role covers parts enquiries, sourcing parts using manufacturer catalogs, processing orders, stock monitoring and handling returns. A full UK driving licence and own vehicle are essential due to site location.

The salary ranges from £28,000 to £32,000 per annum and the role is permanent, full-time, with typical Monday to Friday hours. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in a similar automotive parts role.
• Good knowledge of vehicle parts and accessories.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle due to site location.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with parts enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Identify and supply the correct parts using manufacturer catalogues and systems.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor stock levels, order parts, and check deliveries.
• Pick, pack, and issue parts for the workshop and external customers.
• Handle returns, warranty claims, and supplier queries.
• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure the parts department is well organised.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while building strong customer relationships.
