Responsibilities

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm (1-hour lunch break)

The Role

As a Automotive Parts Advisor, you’ll play an important role in the smooth running of the parts department, ensuring customers and workshop technicians receive the correct parts efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Handling parts enquiries from customers, workshop technicians and trade customers.
• Identifying and sourcing the correct vehicle parts using electronic parts catalogues.
• Checking stock availability, pricing and processing parts orders.
• Supporting the workshop by ensuring technicians have the parts required to complete repairs and servicing.
• Managing parts deliveries, stock control and inventory records.
• Liaising with suppliers to source parts and resolve availability issues.
• Maintaining an organised and efficient parts department.
• Delivering excellent customer service both face to face and over the telephone.
• Working towards departmental targets while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

About You

To be considered for this Parts Advisor position, you’ll need:

• A minimum of 1 year's experience as a Parts Advisor within a franchised main dealership - essential.
