Job summary

Kemp Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Parts Advisor for a dealership near Ashford. You will ensure engineers and customers have the right parts, using your product knowledge to support efficient service.

You will source parts for workshops and support customers at the counter or over the phone, delivering exceptional service. The role offers training, progression, and a supportive team in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Parts Advisor or in a similar parts role.
• Experience in agricultural, groundcare, plant or related machinery sectors.
• Good mechanical understanding and ability to identify machinery parts.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure engineers, workshop technicians and customers have the right parts at the right time.
• Assist customers at the counter or over the phone with accurate parts recommendations.
• Keep parts inventory accurate using dealership or parts management systems.
• Support busy workloads with strong organisation and attention to detail.

The Opportunity

As a Parts Advisor, you'll be at the heart of the dealership, ensuring engineers, workshop technicians, and customers have the right parts at the right time. You'll use your product knowledge, attention to detail, and customer service skills to keep everything running smoothly.

Whether you're sourcing parts for the workshop or supporting customers at the counter or over the phone, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional service and keeping the business operating efficiently.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in a similar parts role.
• Experience within the agricultural, groundcare, plant, or related machinery sectors.
• A good mechanical understanding and the ability to identify machinery parts.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong IT skills and confidence using dealership or parts management systems.
• The ability to stay organised, prioritise workloads, and perform well in a busy environment.
• A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience using the GOLD system would be advantageous, but it's not essential.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Saturday mornings: 8:00am - 12:00pm on a rota basis.
