Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of a reputable franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership in Herefordshire for an experienced Vehicle Parts Advisor. This role offers career progression and a supportive team environment.

You will deal with trade and retail customers, identify parts, manage stock, and use electronic parts catalogue systems while delivering excellent customer service in a busy dealership.

Qualifications

• Recent or current experience as a Vehicle Parts Advisor within an automotive environment.
• IT literate, with proficiency in electronic parts catalogue systems.
• Strong customer service and sales skills with a friendly, charismatic manner.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with trade and retail customers regarding parts enquiries and sales.
• Accurately identifying parts requirements and ensuring correct parts are ordered, picked, and dispatched.
• Maintaining and controlling stock levels of vehicle parts.
• Conducting parts sales face-to-face, via email, and over the phone.
• Supplying parts efficiently to vehicle technicians within the workshop.
• Using electronic parts catalogue systems effectively for daily operations.
• Providing outstanding customer service and sales support in a high-paced environment.
• Collaborating with team members to maintain smooth workshop operations.

Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership in Herefordshire, seeking an experienced Vehicle Parts Advisor. Duties of a Parts Advisor:

• Dealing with trade and retail customers regarding parts enquiries and sales

• Strong customer service and sales skills with a friendly, charismatic manner
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy dealership setting
