A prominent educational recruitment firm is seeking a dedicated Part-Time SEN Tutor in Greater Manchester. The role involves delivering 1:1 tuition in Maths and English to vulnerable pupils with Special Educational Needs. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with SEN students and possess a patient and adaptable teaching style. The position offers flexible hours, approximately 10-20 hours per week, and competitive pay depending on experience.
We are recruiting experienced SEN Tutors to work with pupils across Greater Manchester (Oldham, Rochdale, Bolton, and Bury), delivering 1:1 tuition in both Maths and English from KS1 through to KS4.
Our tutors support vulnerable pupils who are currently out of school, many of whom have Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The role requires patience, flexibility, and a creative approach to re-engage students with learning.
This role offers a unique chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pupils who need support the most. You'll plan and deliver tailored 1:1 sessions in Maths and English, helping learners regain confidence, close knowledge gaps, and make real educational progress.
If you're a dedicated SEN professional who can deliver both core subjects and want the flexibility of part-time work, we’d love to hear from you!
