Job summary

Chartwells Independent is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service, to oversee all catering operations on a part-time basis.

This role is contracted to 22.5 hours per week across 43.8 weeks per year, with opportunities to progress within the Compass Group UK&I family. You will lead kitchen and service teams, ensuring top standards and a friendly, safe dining experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of catering experience.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated individual who wants to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to ensure we exceed expectations
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to help everyone excel
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
