Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee catering and service operations across our Chartwells sites on a part-time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week.

You will ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly, supervise teams, monitor KPIs, and uphold health and safety standards, with opportunities to develop your catering career within a company that values individuality.

Qualifications

• Two years of catering experience required.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Ability to lead and train teams to deliver high-quality food and service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to high standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to ensure service excellence.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Chartwells/Compass Group UK&I and maintain brand image.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Train and mentor teams to excel in their roles.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across catering and service teams.
