Chartwells is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week and 42.6 weeks per year.

The role requires a passion for high‑quality food and customer service, with a minimum of two years catering experience, team management experience, and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, with opportunities to progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to maintain service quality.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Chartwells/Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Train and support teams to excel in their roles.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across all teams.
