Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is hiring a Catering Supervisor to oversee catering and service operations on a 25 hours per week basis across 43.8 weeks per year.

You will prepare high-standard food and supervise teams to deliver exceptional customer service, while monitoring KPIs and ensuring Health & Safety compliance. The role offers progression within a supportive, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years catering experience.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated with a willingness to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to maintain impeccable food and service.
• Communicating with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our teams to exceed expectations.
• Training and supporting teams to excel in their roles.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams.
