Job summary

Ruby Country Medical Group is seeking a passionate Practice Nurse to join our team for 21 hours per week across three days, including a Thursday and Friday. You will deliver high-quality nursing care across a wide range of services and support a welcoming local community.

We welcome both experienced nurses and newly qualified applicants, with a Practice Nurse Preceptorship in place. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, professional development, and collaborative practice at our North Devon

Qualifications

• Educated to Degree level in nursing or GP nurse qualification.
• Independent/supplementary nurse prescribing qualification.
• Chronic Disease management qualification.

Responsibilities

• Practice independently in accordance with NMC code of conduct and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and use of IT.
• Run chronic disease clinics and health promotion activities.
• Take venepuncture and ECGs as required.
• Assist in minor surgery and wound care per guidance.
• Ensure infection control guidelines are maintained.
• Document consultations per NMC guidelines.
• Stock and equipment monitoring including refrigeration.
