Job summary

Norfolk Park Medical Practice is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly team. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care, including chronic disease management, vaccinations, wound care and smear testing, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will join a busy GP practice with a small Nursing Team, and we offer flexible hours around 15–25 hours over 2–3 days per week, with hours agreed to suit the candidate and

Qualifications

• Current UK professional registration (NMC) is required.
• General Practice experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in and perform routine patient care as directed by GPs.
• Run clinics with routine appointments.
• Manage chronic disease, vaccinations and smear tests.
• Perform wound care and related procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and participate in Practice meetings.
