Job summary

North House Surgery in Crook is seeking a part-time Practice Nurse on a fixed-term contract to join our friendly team. The role covers general practice nursing duties, including women's health, vaccinations, health promotion and chronic disease management.

The successful candidate will work within professional nursing boundaries, deliver high standards of care, support GPs, and help maintain accurate records while liaising with local services.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with UK NMC registration.
• Experience in primary care nursing preferred.
• Flexible to work part-time and outside core hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care including vaccinations and chronic disease management.
• Carry out wound care, venepuncture and routine health checks.
• Support GPs and ensure accurate clinical records.
