The successful applicant will work strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, be responsible for performing venepuncture to obtain blood samples from patients only as the result of a direct referral from a GP or nurse practitioner.
The Manor Group is looking to employ a part-time Phlebotomist for the Manor Surgery site which is located near the John Radcliffe Hospital. We are a purpose-built building with modern facilities and well-equipped treatment rooms. We are a training practice and have a culture of learning and have an excellent reputation for the level of teaching we provide. The surgery is readily accessible by public transport with local bus routes.
Hours: Ideally 4-7.30pm, Monday-Thursday (14 hrs per week)
Salary: Starting salary of £13.16 per hour, in line with the Oxford Living Wage

This is a part-time role with the ability to cover for extra shifts (planned absences and to cover at short notice) when necessary. It is based at the Manor Surgery site in Headington.
