Overview

Part-Time Personal Assistant with Housekeeping Responsibilities

Location: Templecombe

Reports To: Business Owner

Hours: 15-16 hours per week, primarily mornings

Salary: £15 per hour, plus holiday pay, pension contributions, and free parking

Responsibilities
  • Business Support: Assist in managing the owner's schedule, including appointments and meetings; conduct research and prepare reports or presentations as required; manage correspondence (emails, phone calls, and mail); organise travel arrangements, including itineraries and accommodations; assist with bookkeeping and basic financial tasks, if applicable; handle administrative tasks for the owner's business as needed.
  • Housekeeping Duties: Perform daily cleaning and tidying of the owner's residence, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping; manage laundry and ensure the cleanliness of clothing and household linens; maintain organisation in living spaces and common areas; assist with grocery shopping and stock household supplies, ensuring the kitchen is stocked and organised; execute other household errands as needed.
  • Personal Organisation: Assist with personal tasks and errands, such as scheduling appointments or managing personal projects; facilitate communication between the owner and other personal or business contacts.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, in a housekeeping role, or in a similar position is preferred.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and basic bookkeeping software.
  • A valid driving licence and reliable transportation may be required.
