Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
• Management qualification or equivalent leadership training.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinicians to maintain full shift patterns in line with service and training needs.
• Ensure doctors comply with working time directives and total hours policy.
• Communicate rota/service changes to relevant parties.
• Act as central contact for consultants, junior doctors and residents regarding leave and training policies.
• Manage daily rota coverage, redeploy staff as needed.
• Oversee allocation of leave and budget for locum spend with Operations Manager.
