A recruitment agency is seeking an HR Manager for a part-time role within the education sector in Ashton-under-Lyne. This position involves overseeing HR operations, managing recruitment, and ensuring compliance with UK employment law. Ideal candidates will have proven HR experience, strong organisational and communication skills, and preferably a CIPD qualification Level 5. Location: Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside
Hours: 15 hours per week – term time plus two weeks, flexible days. Working times 8.30am to 4.30pm (no flexibility). Pay: £12,000 – £15,000 per annum (equivalent to FTE £30,000 – £37,500).
Fully office based – no hybrid.
As HR Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the school's HR function. This is a varied and hands‑on position where you’ll manage recruitment, safeguarding checks, employee relations, and HR compliance in line with UK employment law and statutory guidance.
