Job summary

Co-op Funeralcare, Redruth, is seeking a part-time Funeralcare Assistant to support families and manage client services. The role covers coordination, preparation, and customer care, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with clients and colleagues in writing and verbally.
• Ability to perform basic cash handling, discounts, data entry and invoicing.
• Keen eye for detail and accuracy ensuring regulatory policies are followed.
• Proficient with IT devices and software used to manage client records and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community.
• Assist clients in person and over the phone, arranging visits and answering questions.
• Keep the funeral home clean, safe, and welcoming and report maintenance issues.
• Use digital systems to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements and invoicing.
