Job summary

Chartwells Independent is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations on a part-time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week and 42.6 weeks per year. You will ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly and deliver exceptional food experiences.

In this role you will lead our culinary and catering teams, monitor KPIs, maintain health and safety standards, and uphold Compass Group UK&I's brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in catering.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable service.
• Communicating with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training teams; leading from the front to help everyone excel.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams.
